JGS Extended Day program is offered daily during the school year for parents who need after-school care for their students. Extended Day is available from 3:30 - 5:45 p.m. daily and is supervised by JGS teachers and staff. The cost for Extended Day is $65 per week or $18 per day for drop-ins. Snacks, homework assistance and play time will be provided each day the program is in session. Payment is due by the 10th of each month. Students who remain at school past 3:30 p.m. will be admitted to Extended Day and the parents billed accordingly. 
As members of a Christian and caring community, students are expected to respect the staff, each other, the materials, and the environment provided. The Extended Day program follows the same discipline procedure as Jesus the Good Shepherd School. 

• A discount will not be given for students picked up earlier than 5:45 p.m.
• If an account is two months past due, children will not be allowed to attend Extended Day until the account is paid in full.
• A late charge of $5.00 per minute will be incurred for children who are not picked up from Extended Day by 5:45 p.m.
