The vision of Jesus the Good Shepherd School is to instill in each child a love of learning and a love of God, self, and others.
School Philosophy
As a Catholic School, we teach the Catholic faith and the importance of Christian living. This includes development of attitudes and values. One teaches attitudes and values by the way one thinks and by one's example. We respect the special person in each student. Our biggest job is to instill in each student a positive self-concept. Each student must feel he is respected and is of value.
The work at school is a continuation of the parental responsibility to teach...a responsibility that began the day the child was born. It is an education in living and learning to know, love, and serve Almighty God. The process also includes the various branches of learning, which will prepare the student for his advanced courses in junior high school and high school.
