Tuition Assistance

Jesus the Good Shepherd School strives to assist families with the opportunity for providing a Catholic school education for their children through various funds, including the Bishop's Fund, The Daughters of the Cross Fund, Jesus the Good Shepherd Parish and Jesus the Good Shepherd School.

• If your family will be in need of tuition assistance for the coming school year, you may access the FACTS tuition assistance application link provided in the far right column.
• Complete the FACTS tuition assistance form and upload all required documents before April 18, 2023. Only one application is necessary per family. You will receive a letter regarding your application assistance over the summer. 
• Tuition assistance is based on the needs per family derived from the most recent tax returns. Funds are distributed only to those who submit complete applications and qualify for assitance.

Arete Scholars is a scholarship program that exists to help under-resourced children reach their highest potential through educational opportunity. Through private contributions from corporate and philanthropic partners, Arete awards need-based K-12 scholarships and empowers parents to place their children in schools that best suit their unique gifts and learning needs.

• Arete Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis with scholarship limits averaging $4,300 for K-8 students and $4,800 for grades 9-12.
• This is a wonderful opportunity to offer children and families, who would never be able to afford Catholic/private school, a chance to attend and potentially change a child’s life forever. We are asking our JGS families to help us find children who will thrive in our school environment that meet these eligibility requirements. You may know of children that attend your church or sports activities that would qualify. Please know that potential students and families must meet all requirements set forth by Arete and by JGS School including, but not limited to, a recent report card, attendance record, recent standardized test scores and disciplinary record/conduct grade.
